How to apply?
Go to the admissions.nu.edu.kz portal and press the “Sign Up” button and fill out the required information in English. Please select the undergraduate program when choosing the academic level.
After completing the application, confirm it by clicking on the link sent to your email inbox.
Be sure to read the instructions about the application procedure given in your personal account.
A second chance to enroll
at Nazarbayev University this year
The Mid-Year Intake for the undergraduate program is an additional opportunity for applicants who wish to begin their studies at Nazarbayev University in the spring semester on a fee-paying basis.
This admission type is convenient for those who have recently graduated from high school, taken a gap in their studies, or decided to choose a major later. The selection process will be carried out in accordance with the Admission Policy and Procedures for Undergraduate Programs, similar to the standard intake.

The following applicants are eligible to participate in the competition:
  • Applicants who have completed secondary/high school;
  • Current students of other universities.
To submit an application, you must create a Personal account at admissions.nu.edu.kz.

Application period:
  • September 29 – November 28, 2025 (until 14:00 Astana time).

Deadline for submission of test results:
  • SAT/ACT and IELTS/TOEFL – November 28, 2025 (until 23:59 Astana time).

Important: Applicants applying for the Spring semester of undergraduate programs on a fee-paying basis do not participate in the competition for the educational grant “Nazarbayev University” or other grants.

*Full-tuition based applicants receive a conditional/unconditional admission offer immediately after submitting their application. This category of applicants is required to cover the full tuition fee of the undergraduate program.

Students enrolled under this intake will begin their studies in the Spring semester, starting in January 2026.

Tuition fees
  • Foundation
    The tuition fee for the Foundation Year Program is $12,000 (6 132 000 KZT) for the 2025/2026 academic year for both local and international students.

    There are merit-based Abay Kunanbayev scholarships for top international applicants recommended for admission.

  • Undergraduate
    The tuition fee for the undergraduate programs is $15,000 (7 665 000 KZT) for the 2025/2026 academic year for both local and international students.
    For the Bachelor in Nursing program, the tuition is 3 066 000 KZT per one academic year.
