PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Think rigorously. Solve broadly.

The program combines core courses, advanced mathematics electives and technical electives. Students develop analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills while exploring areas aligned with their academic and career interests.

The flexible curriculum supports deeper study in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and financial mathematics. Non-mathematics electives create opportunities to explore other disciplines and pursue a minor.

Upper-level research-oriented work prepares graduates for quantitative careers and further study in mathematics, statistics and related fields.
